Private Music Lessons in Leicester

The Leicester Community Music School is offering private music lessons once again this year. Private instruction is offered on flute, clarinet, saxophone, french horn, trumpet, trombone, low brass, percussion, piano, ukuele, and guitar.

Expectations:

All band students will:

·        Attend rehearsals on Tuesdays after school. LMS provides a late bus on Tuesdays.

·        Participate in all concerts.

·        Practice instruments at home!! This is a MUST! Daily practice is ideal.

If a student also needs to stay after school for extra help on a Tuesday, they should report to band ASAP.

Performances:

·        Fall Concert: Thursday, October 16^th at 7PM

·        Winter Concert: December 17^th at 7PM

·        Evening with the Arts: Wednesday, April 15^th, 2015 at 7PM

·        Spring Concert: Wednesday, May 13^th, 2015 at 7PM

·        Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 25^th at 10AM

Uniform:

All members are required to purchase a Leicester Music polo shirt ($15) online at www.booster.com/LMSmusic by September 15th. The rest of the uniform will be khaki pants or skirt and clean shoes. Sneakers are okay, dress shoes are preferred. No neon colors or crazy designs, please!

Band and Chorus Uniform Shirts

Attention band and chorus members and families:

Just a reminder that all students involved in the band and chorus at LMS will be required to purchase uniform polos for concerts this year. These must be purchased online at https://www.booster.com/lmsmusic and cost $15.

All band students will be called for a meeting during school on Friday, September 5th. Students may sign up for band at this point and will receive the expectations! Band is a commitment!
